A responsive grid of rich cards with images, category tag, title, description and CTA. Perfect for blog previews, portfolio, services or team showcases.

Inspector panels on this block: Cards, Layout & Style. Those titles come from index.js, not from a shared template.

Behavior controls: “Card style” options: Shadow card, Bordered, Flat, Overlay (image bg); “Hover effect” options: Lift, Scale image, None; “CTA style” options: Link + arrow, Solid button; “Image aspect ratio” options: 16:9, 4:3, 3:2, 1:1 (square), 2:3 (portrait).

Image Cards has no render.php and no frontend.js. The saved Gutenberg HTML is what visitors see, plus Blockenberg layout/typography CSS.

Where to find it

Gutenberg inserter → Media → search “Image Cards” (block name `blockenberg/image-cards` in block.json). Style it in the sidebar after insert.

How to use Image Cards block for WordPress

  1. Install Blockenberg. Install from WordPress.org and activate the plugin.
  2. Insert the block. Edit a page, click +, search for “Image Cards”, insert it. Category: Media.
  3. Configure inspector controls that exist on this block. Open Cards. Set “Title”, “Description”, “Tag/category”, “CTA label”.
  4. Publish. Save the page. Output is the saved block HTML; typography/colors follow Blockenberg shared panels.
